A silver medieval short cross cut halfpenny of either Henry II (1154-1189), Richard I (1189-1199), John (1199-1216) or Henry III (1216-1272) struck between 1180 and 1247. The halfpenny has been folded into a quarter so the reverse is on the exterior (and the obverse obscured). No mint or moneyer is legible.
