A highly worn and damaged late 17th-century post-medieval halfpenny of William III, Third issue (c. 1699 - c. 1701; cf. Spink 3556). This is possibly a contemporary copy in tin; the official coins are struck in copper, the last tin coins having been phased out in the early 1690s. It is slightly bent, heavily depleted, and appears to be delaminating.

A very badly mis-struck 18th-century copper-alloy halfpenny of George III (c. 1770 - c. 1775). The existance of such a double-struck coin prompts questions of how it was created/has survived.
