An incomplete silver groat of Queen Mary I (AD 1553 to AD 1554). The coin has two missing fragments along the edges of the coin. One crack joining part of the missing fragment across to the edge. Reverse shows a crowned bust facing left, legend reads: MARIA DG ANG FRA Z HI[B REGINA]. Obverse shows a long cross fourchée over royal shield. Legend: VERITAS TEMPORIS FILI[A].
