A contemporary copy of a silver Roman denarius of Vespasian dating to c. AD 70. COS ITER TR POT reverse type depicting Pax, draped. seated left, holding branch in extended right hand and winged caduceus in left. The legends are blundered on both sides and the obverse appears to be struck as a mirror image of the original. Cf. RIC II, Part 1 (second edition) Vespasian 29 for the prototype.
