A modern replica of a Hiberno-Norse penny produced using the obverse from the Hiberno-Norse coin copying Aethelred II's (AD 978-1016) long cross combined with the reverse copying his last small cross. The piece is possibly a replica made by a re-enactment group as the coin does not appear to have been made to deliberately deceive, the reverse including the fictitious inscription HROLF M-O WIRHALH.

A post medieval milled copper alloy coin, proabably a penny, of unknown ruler, probably dating to AD 1780- 1900. Possibly forged, the coin appears to be made from a diverse metal with a copper alloy coating that has almost worn away. A patina, mainly yellow in colour, but some green present can be seen around the outside edges. This is slightly raised from the metal surface and may have been the surface coating upon the coin.

A modern copy of an Early Medieval silver halfpenny of Edward the Elder (899-924), based upon Norrth 660 (floral penny) albeit seemingly intended to be a halfpenny version, of which no real examples are known. The style and flan of the coin are not consistent with an early-medieval piece- the flan is too smooth and the design/inscription too well defined and crisp. The coin was most likely produced by David Greenhalgh, aka Grunel Moneta, a re-enactor who produces replicas of a wide variety of coins, often with the reverse displaying the name 'GRVNAL'.
