A lead-alloy contemporary copy of a denarius of Julia Domna dating to the period AD 196 to 211 (Reece period 10). Venus reverse type. This coin appears to have been defaced on both the obverse and reverse with individual jab marks. It also possesses a circular perforation which is situated at 2 o'clock on the obverse.
