Obverse: MARChIO NAMVRC; Bare headed bust facing (pollard) with saltire to either side of the neck Reverse: GCO/MES/FLA/DRE; Long cross dividing field into quarters; three pellets in three of the quarters with an open quatrefoil in the third. Diameter: 18.81mm; thickness: 0.84mm and weight: 1.35g.

The coin has a small chip between 12 and 1 o'clock as seen on the reverse.
