Silver coin. Penny of an uncertain issuer, possibly a continental imitation, though reverse suggests a York mint.
Obverse description: Odd looking facing bust with sloping neck but no shoulders; arched crown with flat band, plain cross at throat, pellet either side of base of neck. No initial cross.
Obverse inscription: E[----]?RF [-]VxxAVOIL, double saltire punctuation.
Reverse description: Long cross with central quatrefoil, three pellets in each angle.
Reverse inscription: CIVI/TA[S/(--/-)I
