An incomplete and worn copper-alloy Roman nummus, probably of Decentius, dating to AD 351-3 (Reece Period 18), VICTORIAE DD NN AVG ET CAES reverse type, depicting two Victories facing each other and holding a wreath inscribed VOT / V /MVLT / X, (probably), between them. The coin has lost most of its rim and legend, but the Mint Mark is possibly AMB for Ambianum / Amiens. RIC VIII, p. 122, cf. no. 6 passim. Dimensions:- Diameter 19.5mm, thickness 0.9mm, and weight 1.7gm. Die Axis 6 o'clock.

A Roman copper alloy coin: a nummus of Magnentius (AD350-353), two Victories type (351 - 353). The coin was struck at Amiens. It is struck on an oval flan and is 22.8mm long, 20mm wide and 1.9mm thick. It weighs 4.26gm. cf. LRBC 11, 15 or 17.
