A copper-alloy Roman nummus of Constantius II (AD 323-361), dating to the period c.AD 348-350 (Reece period 18). Obverse shows the Emperor laureate, draped, and cuirassed facing right. Reverse: FEL TEMP REPARATIO, Emperor standing left in bow of Galley, Phoenix on Globe in one hand, and Labarum held in the other. Victory seated in stern steering Galley. Mint of Trier. As RIC VIII, p. 153, no. 214. The coin is slightly oval and measures 24.36 mm x 21.10 mm. Weight 5.4 gm, thickness 1.84 mm, and die axis 6 o'clock.
