Roman silver contemporary copy of a siliqua, probably of Julian I (355-363), VOTIS V MVLTIS X reverse type (Inscription in four lines within wreath), minted at Trier 360-3. RIC VIII, c.f. nos. 363-365.
Only about a quarter of the coin remains. It is a thin outer sheet of silver, the hollow within was probably originally filled with copper alloy

A silver siliqua of Julian (AD 355-363); VOTIS V MVLTIS X reverse type; minted at Trier, AD 360-363; RIC no. 365. The coin is damaged around the edges and is slightly worn and corroded. It measures 18.4mm in diameter, 1mm thick and weighs 1.6g. It is possible that the coin is clipped, but the battered state of the coin makes it difficult to be certain.

Roman contemporary plated copy of a silver siliqua of Julian I (355-363), VOTIS V MVTLIS X reverse (legend in wreath), copying the Trier mint mark.
About a quarter of the coin is missing to an irregular break along one side and some of the copper core has corrosed away. The silver outer layer is cracked in places and copper corrosion has leached though to the surface.
