A slightly corroded, probably irregular, mid 4th-century Roman copper-alloy nummus copying Magnentius or Decentius, 'VICTORIAE DD NN AUG ET CAES', uncertain mint (c. 350 - c. 353 AD; Reece issue period 18; c.f. Boon 109). The coin is very well executed but, even though the circumference is depleted, the flan is unusually small.
