Treasure number 2008 T447 Roman coin hoard Roman silver coin: Siliqua of Julian II as Caesar, minted in Arles dating 355-60AD, Reece period 18. Reverse type VOTIS/V/MVLTIS/X in a wreath. RIC VIII p. 224 nos. 264-5. The coin is unclipped. Report by Jude Plouviez and Sam Moorhead Discussion 3 late Roman silver coins were found in close proximity in the plough soil. Although 175 other Roman coins were also found in the area (being recorded onto the Portable Antiquities Database), it seems that that these silver coins come from the same group.
