Roman silver coin: Siliqua of Julian II as Caesar, minted in Arles dating 355-60AD, Reece period 18. Reverse type VOTIS/V/MVLTIS/X in a wreath. RIC VIII p. 224 nos. 264-5. The coin is unclipped.

Discussion 3 late Roman silver coins were found in close proximity in the plough soil. Although 175 other Roman coins were also found in the area (being recorded onto the Portable Antiquities Database), it seems that that these silver coins come from the same group. They date from 355 to…

Mint mark PCON (Arles), 360-1. Mattingley and Sydenham, Roman Imperial Coinage, Volume VIII, page 227, ref. 295. Without an image it is not possible to know if the coin is clipped.
