A Roman (AD 363-364) copper alloy nummus of Jovian (AD 363-64). The nummus measures 12mm, and is very worn in places.
Obverse: Diademed bust right.
Reverse: Wreath containing VOT / V / MVLT / X.
The National Finds Adviser wonders, given the very small module (12mm), if this is actually a vota piece of the House of Theodosius dating to AD 379-88 - for example see LRBC p. 47, nos. 147-9. Without an image it is not possible to be certain.
