A Roman copper alloy coin nummus dating to bewteen AD 337-375. The coin features crude depictions on each face and appears to be a contemporary copy. No inscriptions are visible, but the reverse depicts a soldier spearing a fallen horseman (FEL TEMP REPARATIO type). Dimensions: diameter 13.23mm; weight 0.88g.
This object is part of a much larger collection that was found over twenty-five years of fieldwalking over the same site.
