A Roman (AD 351-2) copper alloy nummus of Magnentius (AD 350-53) measuring 20mm. The nummus has some slight wear and has chipped edges. Obverse: Bare head draped and cuirassed. Bust facing right, 'A' behind head + D N MAGNEN TIVS P F AVG. Reverse: Two Victories holding a shield inscribed VOT / V / MVLT / X no supporting column + VICTORIAE [DD NN AVG ET CAE] -/-//AMB branch.
