A silver Roman siliqua of Julian (AD 360-363), dating to AD 360-363 (Reece Period 18). The obverse depicts the emperor facing right, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed. Obverse brockage (the coin has the outline of the emperor on the reverse). Mint of Lyon or Arles.

An incomplete silver siliqua of the Roman period from the reign of Julian II, AD361-363. Reece period 18. Obverse description: Pearl diademed,draped and bearded bust right. Obverse inscription: [DN] FL CL IVLI-ANVS [PF AVG]V. Reverse description: VOT X MVLT XX within laurel wreath,eagle in badge at top of wreath. Mintmark not available (clipped); probably Arles. The coin is in a fair condition with some wear on both faces. It has been clipped in several places all the way around the edge;due to this, the mintmark cannot be seen.
