The remaining portion of the coin is 20.3mm long, 15.4mm wide and 2.1mm thick. It weighs 2.3g.

Magnentius and Decentius were usurpers under whom larger than normal coins were issued. In 354, Contantius II outlawed these larger coins, probably at least in part to damn the memory of the unsuccessful usurpers.
