This comes from a group of 16 coins found in close proximity. They all apparently have typical British corrosion. Amongst the group are three unusual coins from the Eastern Mediterranean; a nummus of Constantius II or Constans from Constantinople, 348-51; a decanummium of Justinian I from Constantinople 542-9; an Islamic coin prob c.750-900.
