A copper alloy nummus, possibly of Julian the Apostate, AD 361 - 363 (Reece Period 19). The reverse is probably SPES REI PVBLICAE - emperor standing left, holding a globe in one hand and a spear in the other. The mint is unknown. The coin is 18.5mm in diamter, is 1.3mm thick and weighs 1.93g. It may also be a House of Valentinian SECVRITAS REIPVBLICAE coin. There is possibly a letter in the left field of the reverse.
