A contemporary copy of a silver siliqua (unclipped) of Julian II (AD 355-363) as Augustus, dating to the period c.AD 360-363 (Reece period 18). VOT/X/MVLT/XX reverse type depicting the legend within a wreath. Prototype of the mint of Arles. Cf. Hoxne, p. 147, no. 796. A second example apparently with the same obverse die has been noted in a solidus and siliqua hoard from Norfolk, see NMS-102704.
