Roman worn (possibly contemporary plated copy of a) Siliqua of Julian, VOT/X/MVLT/XX, prototype of Arles, 361-3. RIC VIII, c.f. no. 309. 18mm in diameter and weighing 1.71g.The National Finds Adviser wonders if this is a plated copy, or just a dis-coloured silver piece. It does appear to be clipped.
Obverse: Diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right D N CL FL IVLI-ANVS PP AVG
Reverse: Legend in wreath with medallion in its centre containing an eagle, head left VOT / X / MVLT / XX -/-//PCONST
