An incomplete Roman silver siliqua of Magnentius (AD 350-353), dating to the period AD 350 (Reece Period 18). VIRTVS-[EXERCITI] reverse type depicting a Soldier standing facing, head right, holding spear and resting on shield. Mint of Trier. As RIC VIII, p. 157, no. 258. This appears to be the first siliqua of Magnentius recorded on this database.
