Incomplete copper alloy Roman nummus from the 1st Tetrarchy dating c.294-305AD (Reece Period 15), probably mint of London. The obverse is corroded but has the curaissed and laureate bust of the emperor facing right. Very little of the legend is visible but there appears to be an N just above the head and possible a C or G and the end of the legend. It is possible this represents Constantius as Caesar, but could also be Maximian I. Reverse is GENIO POPVLI ROMANI reverse type depicting Genius standing left holding patera and cornucopia.
