GENIO POPVLI ROMANI reverse type depicting Genius standing left, modius on head, naked but for chlamys over left shoulder, right hand holding patera, left holding corucopiae. Mint of London. This coin probably belongs to and intermediate class ('Intermediate II'?) of nummi between the -///LON and Class II issues at London. See Cloke and Toone, 2015: no. 1.03.

A copper-alloy Roman fractional nummus of Constantine I (AD 306-337) as Caesar, dating to exactly AD 307 (Reece period 15). PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS reverse type depicting the prince (radiate crowned and draped) standing facing, head left, holding two standards. Mint of Trier. RIC VI, p. 213, no. 743. The coin is preserved in good condition, with an even green patina covering most of its surfaces. This appears to be the fractional (half) denomination (by diameter and weight) of the full nummus, with a good example of the full denomination noted on the PAS database from Wiltshire (SUR-DA49A8).
