A post medieval tin farthing of James II or William III and Mary II dating to AD1684-1692. The coin is very corroded and parts of the edge have been lost. The farthing has a square copper alloy plug in the centre. A bust facing right is just visible on the obverse and similarly, Britannia seated left can just be seen on the reverse. Probably mint of London. Spink (2022) p 373, no 3420-3421 (James II) or p382 no 3450-3451 (William and Mary).

Good condition tin halfpenny of William III and Mary II. The obverse has a right facing double bust of the two monarchs surrounded by the legend GVLIELMVS ET MARIA. The reverse depicts a left facing seated Britannia with a shield and spear, with the legend BRITANNIA. The date 1694 is below the seated figure. Tin halfpennies were replaced in that year with copper alloy coins.

A tin halfpenny of William III and Mary II (1688-1694). The coin is incomplete around the edges and is very worn, especially on the obverse as the two heads are very hard to see (thickness: 2.5mm; diameter: 27mm; weight: 9.45g).
After 1694, tin halfpennies and farthings were replaced by copper coins.
