A tin or heavily debased silver coin, probably of Charles I or II. The coin is very worn and no traces of its design are legible on either side. However, a crude cross has been inscribed on one side. It is uncertain what this cross is intended to represent. It is possible that this coin dates to the era of the English Civil War, when coinage minted by the king was very crude.
