A Post Medieval tin farthing of Charles II (AD 1660-1685), dating AD 1672-1679. The obverse depicts a laurate and cuirased bust of the king in profile facing left. The inscription reads CAROLVS . A . CAROL[O]. The reverse depicts Britannia, seated left. The inscription reads [NVMMORVM FAMVLVS]. The date is no longer legible. There is a copper plug in the centre of the coin.
