A tin farthing of James II, AD 1685-1688, dating from AD 1684 to 1687. This coin is corroded and worn and the obverse is less legible than the reverse. Obverse shows an unclear bust right. Obverse legend reads I[AC]OBVS / [SECVN]DVS. Reverse shows Britannia seated left. Reverse legend reads [BR]I[T]AN/[NI]A. Die axis is 6 o'clock. Weight is 5.85g, diameter is 23.1mm, thickness is 3.0mm. See Spink, COINS OF ENGLAND & THE UNITED KINGDOM, 45TH Edition, 2010, pp. 341, nos. 3420 or 3421.

A complete Post-Medieval milled tin halfpenny, circa AD1689 - AD1692. This coin, which has a copper core, was issued during the reign of William and Mary, AD1688 - 1694. Obverse description:- conjoined busts right. Obverse inscription:- GVLIELMVS MARIA. Reverse description:- Brittania seated left. Reverse inscription:- BRITAN NIA. The coin measures 29.2mm in diameter, has a thickness of 2.4mm, and weighs 13.0g, and is in fair condition. Ref:- This appears as coin number 3448 in Spink"s "Coins of England & the United Kingdom", Page 336.
