Post Medieval Spanish silver coin, a half reale of Ferdinand V and Isabella I (1474-1504). Only half of the coins survives, it has been broken, not cut. Obverse; a yoke, the symbol of Ferdinand, surrounded by scroll work, in the field is the letter 'P'. The surviving inscription reads 'CAS. Reverse: sheaf of arrows, the symbol of Isabella. Iron Age Silver unit of the "Monnaies-a-la-croix" type, c. 200-118 BC, Obverse: head with flamboyant hair, apparently facing left, traces of highly stylised face are perhaps present. Reverse: cross in high relief, sharply defined with a pellet in three of its angles and a device made up of angled lines in the fourth angle.
