A fragment of a Scottish, gold double crown of James I and VI, ninth coinage, dating from 1604-1609AD. The coin has been torn at some time and less than half remains. The remaining portion is 26mm long, 20.4mm wide and 0.8mm thick. It weighs 2.41gm. Reference: Spink, number 5466.
