An incomplete, worn silver post Medieval coin from the reign of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603), possibly a Second Issue three farthings coin minted in AD 1580-1581. The mintmark appears to be a long cross, thought it is uncertain. The coin is bent and there is a tear in the coin c. 4mm long at 7 o'clock. It may have been clipped from 1 o'clock to 3 o'clock along the edge of the coin.
