A complete and worn post-Medieval copper-alloy half-farthing of George IV (1820-1830), dating to the period 1828 or 1830 (date illegible on coin). This coin was produced for use in Ceylon. Spink: 3826. Obverse: GEORGIUS [IV DEI GRATIA]; Laureate bust left, date below bust now illegible. Reverse: [BRITANNIAR REX FID DEF]; Britannia seated right. Diameter: 15.7mm. Weight: 1.24g. DA=12:12.
