The coin has a diameter of 19.2mm, and a thickness of 2.4mm. It weighs 2.7g. The obverse depicts a laureate bust of the emperor, draped, facing right, inscription [I]MP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG. The reverse type is ANNONA AVG, depicting Annona standing left holding corn ears and a corucopiae, with a modius at her feet.
