A fine silver roman denarius of Elagabalus (r.218-222) reece period 10. Probably RIC IV pt2 160, VICTORIA AVG reverse, Victory advancing left with ?palm held.horizontally in left hand, star in left field. Minted at Rome AD 220-22. Coin remains in good condition save where verdi gris has obscured detail.
Measurements: 19.33mm in diameter, 2.43mm thick and 2.88g in weight.
