Roman silver denarius of Elagabalus, probably dating to AD 221. Mint of Rome. Obverse of laureate, draped, cuirassed bust, right: [IMP ANTONIN]VS PIVS AVG. Reverse of Providentia standing left with cornucopia, pointing wand at ground to left: [P M TR P] III COS III [P P]. The coin is 16.76mm in diameter, 2.00mm in thickness and weighs 1.36g. RIC IV pt. 2 (Elagabalus), probably p. 31, nos. 42a or 42b.
