Otherwise the coin is in extremely good condition.
This type if coin is commonly known as a 'Tribune penny'.

A silver plated contemporary copy of a denarius of Tiberius, AD14-37, (Reece period 1). This coin is copying a coin minted in Lyon. Reverse legend reads [PONTIF MAXIM]. Reverse shows Female figure seated right holding branch. See RIC I, p.95, c.f.30.
Obverse shows a laureate head right. Obverse legend reads TI[...]AVG[...]. Condition is fine, die axis is 6 o'clock, weight is 1.42g, diameter is 19mm.

A slightly worn silver-plated copper-alloy contemporary copy of a Roman denarius of Tiberius, 'PONTIF MAXIM', 'Lyon' mint (AD 14-37; cf. R.I.C. 30; Reece issue period 1). The copper alloy can be seen in areas where the silver has flaked off. The plating on the reverse face is particluarly inconsistent around the edge. Furthermore there would appear to be a spelling error on the reverse.
