A silver roman denarius of the deified Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, dating from 147-157AD. There is a small spur of metal projecting from the flan at 4 o'clock on the obverse. It is 17.54mm in diameter, 2.7mm thick and weighs 3.12gm. It shows Juno on the reverse. Reference: Sear, volume 2, number 4574.

A silver plated copper alloy contemporary copy of a silver denarius of Augustus dating to the period 2 BC to AD 9 (Reece Period 1). Gaius and Lucius standing front, on left and right, each togate and resting hand on shield; behind each shield, a spear; above, on l., a simpulum to r. and on r., a lituus to l. Mint of Lugdunum. RIC I (rev.ed.), p.55, no.207. About a third of the coin is missing revealing the copper alloy core.

A Roman silver coin; a denarius of Maximinus I (235 - 238) with Fides on the reverse. The coin is similar to saerc Volume III number 8307, but with a different obverse legend. Another example on the database is GLO-0FEFA5. About a fifth of the flan is missing, but the coin is otherwise in good condition and is very clear.

A Roman silver coin: a denarius of Julia Mamaea, (218-231 AD). The reverse shows Vesta holding a palladium. See Sear Volume II, number 8217. There is some copper corrosion on the coin, but this appears to be on the surface of the silver, not below, so the coin is probably not a contemporary copy.
