A Roman silver coin: a denarius of Antoninus Pius dating from AD 141 (Reece period 7). The reverse legend reads AEQVITAS AVG, the reverse type is Aequitas standing, facing left, holding scales and sceptre. Rome mint. Reference: Sear, volume 2, page 209, number 4049. The coin is 17.9mm in diameter and 2.2mm thick. It weighs 2.59gm.
