A silver plated copper alloy Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a denarius of Vespasian, minted in Rome in 70AD. The coin has been fairly chipped on the obverse. The reverse depicts Pax seated. Measures 17.7mm diameter x 2.7mm, weighing 2.51g. See Sear vol.1, 2285.

A Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a denarius of Severus Alexander (AD 222-235). The coin is made of copper alloy and silvered. The silver coating is wearing off in places. There is a small chip from the flan at 11 o'clock on the obverse. It is 19.6mm in diameter and 1.9mm thick. It weighs 1.92gm. The coin is a copy of a denarius of Severus Alexander dating from AD 230, showing Sol on the reverse. Cf Sear Volume II number 7910. Compare also to YORYM-3E3D32. The coin seems a little odd, and it is unusually shiny, so it is possible that it is a modern forgery.

A copper alloy and silvered Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a denarius probably of Hadrian (117 - 138), with Spes (probably) on the reverse (probably AD 125). The coin has a diameter of 18.7mm and is 2.4mm thick. The silvering is wearing off displaying the brown copper alloy underneath. The legends are illegible. The core is copper alloy, plated with silver, some of which has now flaked away to reveal the inner metal. The obverse is central, but the reverse is struck somewhat off centre.
