The coin has a diameter of 17.39mm and a thickness of 2.24mm. It weighs 2.97g. This coin is similar to RIC II Hadrian 221c, but the obverse shows a laureate head of Hadrian right. There is a chip missing from the edge at 8 o'clock on the obverse. The coin is 16.8mm in diameter and 2.2mm thick. It weighs 2.62gm. Compare also Sear Volume II, number 3543 on page 151.
