A Roman coin; a silver denarius of Commodus (177-192AD). There is a small chip out of the flan at 7 o'clock on the obverse and a small amount of a black deposit on the reverse. It is 15.6mm in diameter and 2mm thick. It weighs 2.06gm. This coin is not listed in Sear, but the design matches that of the gold aureus at reference number 5574.

A Roman silver coin: a denarius of Caracalla as Caesar under Septimius Severus (196 - 198). It is struck on an oval flan which is 15.8mm long, 14.9mm wide and 2.2mm thick. It weighs 2.37gm. The coin may be Sear Volume II number 6674, but the child held by Felicitas on the reverse cannot be seen.

A silver plated Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a denarius of Geta (209-211). The coin has a diameter of 17.5mm and is 3.8mm thick. It weighs 2.5g. The edge of the coin is damaged and the metal appears to be copper alloy underneath the silver plating. The coin is similar to Sear Volume three number 7200 but the figure on the reverse is Fortuna.

A Roman coin; a silver denarius of Trajan (98 - 117), dating from AD104 - 111. The coin has a diameter of 19mm and is 1mm thick. It weighs 2.86g and was probably minted in Rome. There are three standards on the reverse. The coin is hardly worn and is in very good condition. For reference Roman Imperial Coinage Volume II, number 228. This object was recorded from a photograph and details kindly provided by the finders.
