A silver Roman coin; a denarius of Hadrian (117 - 138), second consulship (118 - 119). The coin is in excellent condition and is hardly worn, though it has a few chips in the edge of the flan. Pax is shown on the reverse. The coin has a diameter of 19.5mm. The coin is sealed in a coin envelope so it's thickness and weight cannot be ascertained. For reference see Roman Imperial Coinage Volume II, number 44a.

A copper alloy and silvered Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a denarius probably of Hadrian (117 - 138), with Spes (probably) on the reverse (probably AD 125). The coin has a diameter of 18.7mm and is 2.4mm thick. The silvering is wearing off displaying the brown copper alloy underneath. The legends are illegible. It is probably minted at Rome, in AD 125-8 and could be RIC II, p. 361, no. 183. Compare YORYM-F1DFD3. The coin has a diameter of 18.3mm and is 2.1mm thick. It weighs 3.13g.
