COS II reverse type depicting Honos standing facing, head left, holding branch and cornucopiae. Mint of Rome. RIC III, p. 80, No. 429a. The coin is 18.24mm diameter, 2.55mm thick, 3.22g.

A Roman silver coin: a denarius of Marcus Aurelius as Caesar, dating from AD 161 (Reece period 7). The reverse reads TR POT XV COS III, and depicts Pietas standing between two children, facing left and holding two more children in her arms. Rome mint. For reference, see Sear, volume 2, number 4799. It is 17.1mm in diameter and 2mm thick. It weighs 2.09gm.
