The coin has a diameter of 17.39mm and a thickness of 2.24mm. It weighs 2.97g. This coin is similar to RIC II Hadrian 221c, but the obverse shows a laureate head of Hadrian right. A copper alloy and silvered Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a denarius probably of Hadrian (117 - 138), with Spes (probably) on the reverse (probably AD 125). The coin has a diameter of 18.7mm and is 2.4mm thick. The silvering is wearing off displaying the brown copper alloy underneath. The legends are illegible. Pax is shown on the reverse. The coin has a diameter of 19.5mm. The coin is sealed in a coin envelope so it’s thickness and weight cannot be ascertained. For reference see Roman Imperial Coinage Volume II, number 44a.
