A copper alloy Roman coin; probably a contemporary copy of a denarius of Otho (Jan to April AD 69), SECVRITAS type, (Feb - Mar AD 69). It was minted in Rome. It weighs 3.1g. For reference see Sear (2000) Roman Coins and Their Values Volume 1, page 417, number 2163. This is not a commonly found coin though this seems to be a copper alloy copy of the coin which should be silver. The surface of the coin is pitted and corroded, but may have originally been plated.
