A silver Roman coin; part of a broken denarius of Septimus Severus (193 - 211 AD), with Aequitas on the reverse. The coin is 16.54mm long, 9.16mm wide and 1.95mm thick. It weighs 1.1g. The coin was minted in 199 AD. See Sear Volume II, number 6259.

A silver Roman coin; part of a broken contemporary copy of a denarius probably of Septimus Severus (193 – 211 AD), with Hercules (probably) on the reverse. The coin is 16.3mm long, 11.6mm wide and 2.39mm thick. It weighs 1.78g. There is copper corrosion where the coin has broken, so it is probably a contemporary copy.
