VENERI VICTR reverse depicting Venus, naked to waist, standing right, holding apple in left hand, palm in right hand and leaning on column. Mint of Rome. RIC IV (part I), p. 165, no. 536. The surfaces have adhering patches of copper corrosion which don't appear to come from this coin.
Diameter: 18.1mm; thickness: 2mm. Weight: 2.25g.

PIETAS PVBLICA reverse type depicting Pietas standing left raising both hands in invocation with altar at her feet. Mint of Rome. See Sear Volume 2, number 6601 on page 494 which cites RIC 574. The coin is 19.1mm diameter, 2.6mm thick and 3.18g. There are cracks in the edge of the flan.

An incomplete plated silver Roman denarius of Julia Domna (AD 193-211), dating to the period c.AD 196-211 (Reece period 10). PIETAS AVGG reverse type depicting Pietas veiled and draped, standing left dropping incense onto an altar and holding box. Prototype of the mint of Rome, cf. RIC IV.1, p.170 no. 572. The base (copper-alloy?) core of the coin is visible in the old breaks.
Measurements: 16.2mm long, 14.84 wide, 1.73mm thick. 1.07 in weight.
