A fragment of a silver denarius of Julia Domna dating to the period AD 196 to 211 (Reece period 10). PIETAS PVBLICA reverse type depicting Pietas standing front, head left, by altar, raising both hands. Mint of Rome. RIC IV, p. 170, p. 574. The coin has been deliberately cut in half. There is also a small, crescental cut out on the circumference of the coin at 6 o'clock on the obverse.
