Roman Coin: Complete but worn silver denarius of Julia Domna (AD.193-217), wife of Septimus Severus. Reverse possibly shows Diana holding a torch aloft although it is too corroded to be certain. Rome mint, minted AD. 196-211. The surface has notable copper corrosion and it is probably a plated copy rather than debased silver. Coin reference: RIC, voume 4, p.167, no. 548.
